Santiago Acrylic-Polyester Upholstery Fabric
Santiago — an abstract distressed jacquard like brush strokes. 38% polyester, 45% acrylic, 17% cotton, 140 cm, 500 g/m², 21 000 Martindale cycles, pilling 4-5. 14 colours under the manufacturer's codes, sold by the metre from 3 m.
Description
Santiago is an abstract jacquard: vertical brush strokes and wear marks create a distressed surface reminiscent of weathered paint or stone. Unlike the geometric Salvador, the pattern here is soft and painterly.
Use
Santiago suits accent furniture in loft-style interiors or rooms with natural materials: an armchair, a bench, a headboard, cushions. Its 21,000 Martindale cycles are rated for moderate wear; for seats in daily use, pair it with the plainer Serena and Sierra.
Colours and codes
The palette uses the same codes 101–114. The near-white 101, 102 and 111 give a barely visible texture, the warm 104, 106 and 108 recall weathered wood, and 107, 110, 112 and 114 are the most contrasting. Every colour in the shop carries the same code that is printed on the manufacturer’s sample.
