Volterra sits where heavy-contract polyester durability meets natural-fibre touch. The 85% polyester / 15% cotton blend is engineered to deliver the 100,000 Martindale rubs at Class SC usually associated with pure-polyester contract cloths, while keeping a soft cotton hand on the visible surface. The chenille-style weave amplifies that — short loops on the surface give the cloth a warm, residential feel that pure polyester structures rarely match.

The 54-colour palette is one of the widest in the Kobe Uni range — useful when a project needs a single fabric to span lounges, sofas, chairs, banquettes and accent pieces across multiple rooms without splitting into different specs. Light fastness 6 (high) protects colour in daylit spaces over years of use. 530 g/m² on a 140 cm bolt is a substantial cloth that anchors well on long sofa backs. Pilling 3-4 — somewhat lower than the polyester family average, a small trade-off for the cotton component’s softness. Rub fastness 4-5. Not flame-retardant. 79 €/m.
