Kolka Polyester-Cotton Upholstery Fabric
Kolka — a fine diagonal twill with a tweed-like look. 50% polyester, 50% cotton, 140 cm, 395 g/m², 25 000 Martindale cycles, pilling 4-5. 8 colours under the manufacturer's codes, sold by the metre from 3 m.
Description
Kolka is woven in a fine diagonal twill: up close you see a slanting herringbone, from a distance the surface reads as a calm tweed. It is the most versatile member of the Annas, Kolka, Riga and Roza family — the texture is there, but it does not compete with the shape of the furniture.
Use
Kolka works as the main fabric for a living-room sofa, armchairs and chairs: the small-scale weave looks good on large surfaces too. For an accent, add an armchair or cushions in Annas or Riga in the same colour code.
Colours and codes
The palette has a cool blue-grey 07, beige-grey 02, light sand 04, terracotta 14, grey 31, near-black graphite 10, rosy brown 15 and chocolate 32. Every colour in the shop carries the same code that is printed on the manufacturer’s sample.
