Guide FR is the geometric-pattern sibling of Cruise FR — same heavy-contract spec, same UK-spec certification stack, different visual story. The Dessin weave carries a small 2.3 × 2.3 cm geometric pattern: small enough to read as a textile rather than a print, regular enough to add a recognisable rhythm across a long sofa or a row of dining chairs. 100% polyester FR with inherent flame retardancy on EN 1021, IMO Part 8, C&M, plus the British BS 5867 Part 2 Type B and BS 7175. The technical sheet sits at the top of contract: 100,000 Martindale rubs at Class SC, pilling 4-5, rub fastness 4-5, light fastness 5. 640 g/m², 12 colours.

Guide FR shares its certification stack with Cruise FR — the same combination of European (EN 1021, IMO Part 8, C&M) and British (BS 5867 Part 2 Type B for drapes, BS 7175 for bedding) fire standards that lets a single fabric carry an entire UK-spec hotel suite or healthcare ward through compliance. What differs is the visual treatment: where Cruise FR has a chenille-look 6 × 5.5 cm pattern, Guide FR is built around a small, regular 2.3 × 2.3 cm geometric weave. Both are Dessin, both are 100% polyester FR — but Guide FR’s pattern reads as a tight, considered geometry that works particularly well on tailored upholstery and modernist seating.
The performance numbers are heavy-contract. 100,000 Martindale rubs at Class SC is twice the threshold for severe contract use. Pilling 4-5, dry/wet rub fastness 4-5, light fastness 5. 640 g/m² on a 140 cm bolt is a substantial, structured cloth that anchors well on long sofa backs and bench seats. 12 colours edited as a coherent contract palette.
