Description
Borana is a wool-led fabric, plain and self-confident — the kind of upholstery a sofa or a lounge chair holds onto for ten years and only looks better for it. The 50% wool content gives it the dry, breathable warmth that synthetics cannot fake: wool releases moisture, regulates temperature, and ages gracefully rather than going shiny. The 40% polyacrylic and 10% polyester carry the technical load — they bring colour consistency, dimensional stability and the abrasion resistance modern living asks of a sofa cloth.
The boucle structure is not a decorative flourish but the whole point of the weave. Loops of yarn sit on the surface as small, irregular dots, catching shadow and adding tactile depth without introducing pattern. Borana is plain, but it is never flat.
