The brushed chenille-like surface is soft and quietly residential, with the visual depth that brushed cloths bring without committing to a full velvet pile.

100% polyester with inherent flame retardancy. 366 g/m² on 140 cm is mid-light — easier to upholster on shaped frames than heavier cloths. 40,000 Martindale rubs (Class SC), pilling 4-5, rub fastness 4-5, light fastness 4. The wide palette and soft hand make Barium FR a useful default specification across multi-room hospitality schemes, where consistency of fabric across different piece types matters as much as individual fabric choice.
